Goloka Nagchampa (also known as Golden, Gold Label or Hare Krishna Nagchampa) is a slightly earthier version of the nag champa fragrance than the better-known Satya Sai Baba brand. Many people feel that its less heady aroma makes it a better aid to meditation.
The makers of Goloka incense support the Akshaya Patra Foundation, a charitable organisation that provides meals for Indian children in poor areas, so that they are able to attend school rather than do menial jobs or beg on the streets.
Hand-rolled in Bangalore, the incense capital of India, these superb masala agarbathi contain only the finest organic ingredients and no animal products. They come in boxes holding 16g, which averages about fourteen or fifteen 8" (20cm) sticks. And a stick burns for a long time... approximately 55 - 60 minutes, depending on conditions.
